This post is located in the Reference Unit, Languages Service, Division of Conference Management, United Nations Office at Geneva.
Advanced university degree (Master’s degree or equivalent) in translation, editing, information science, or related area. A first-level university degree in combination with qualifying experience may be accepted in lieu of the advanced university degree.
At least seven years of experience in the processing of documentation, of which three years preferably within international organizations. Experience with computer-assisted translation (CAT) tools and document management system software is desirable. Experience in reference management within the United Nations or other international organization is an asset.
Fluency in English and French. Knowledge of other UN official languages is an asset.
