LECTURER IN NURSING (Blantyre Campus)
PURPOSE OF THE JOB
To train Nursing students.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Teaching students in class, skills laboratory and clinical area.
Carrying out formative and summative assessments
Participating in the development of academic and administrative tools.
Counseling students on academic matters.
Attending departmental and academic meetings,
DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE AND COMPETENCIES
BSc or Masters degree in Nursing.
3 years experience in teaching and supervising Nursing Students.
Computer knowledge (Power Point , Word , Excel)
Secretary (Lilongwe and Blantyre Campuses)
Purpose of Job
To provide secretarial and administrative support services to divisional heads.
Key duties and Responsibilities
Typing and filing confidential correspondence,
Operating fax and e-mail and answering official queries.
Maintaining appointment diary of immediate supervisor
Filing, updating and retrieving documents,
Providing logistical support services such as servicing meetings, bookings and accommodation.
Arranging college meetings
Making travel arrangements for College Officials.
Minimum qualifications and experience
MSCE Plus Diploma in Secretarial Studies/Business Management/Administration , Typing speed of 50 words per minute.
3 years experience in a busy organisation
Computer knowledge (Word, Excel etc)
LIBRARY ATTENDANT (Lilongwe Campus)
PURPOSE OF THE JOB
To safeguard Library materials.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Checking library users when leaving the library,
Mopping and cleaning of the Library.
Dusting bookshelves.
Participating in making sure that Library Rules and Regulations are not flouted.
DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
Malawi School Certificate of Education
2 years relevant experience.
