Concern Worldwide is currently searching for a motivated, talented and hardworking individual for the following position
st graduate training in Agricultural Marketing and/or Conservation Agriculture, A minimum of 5 yrs experience in managing and coordinating complex and diverse agricultural and livelihood development programmes, Experience in management of financial resources, Experience of developing and managing programme monitoring and evaluation systems, Experience using digital approaches for gathering and monitoring data such as tablets or smart phones
Source and manage local and external technical consultants in support of FIM programme implementation, Maintain strong working relationships with other international NGOs active in the FIM sector in order to maximise opportunities to enter into consortium based proposal submissions to donors, Lead project design and proposal development processes in response to donor funding opportunities, Build motivated and highly functional implementation teams through regularly support, coaching and mentoring of FIM staff and partners organisations, Facilitate the capacity building of Concern and partner FIM staff to maintain our ability to deliver of high quality and innovative FIM programmes, Review staff structures and job description roles and responsibilities to ensure optimal human resourcing of the FIM sector programmes, In line with programme plans and budgets to coordinate and consolidate procurement requests to ensure timely delivery f supplies and inputs to FIM programmes, Prepare high quality monthly, quarterly and annual internal and external reports on time, Ensure that lessons learned and best practices improve programme quality, Build upon and maintain results based systems of M&E to better demonstrate FIM programme outcomes and impacts, Undertake regular and detailed reviews of implementation progress against plan sand budgets, Manage the planning, coordination and quality of FIM programme implementation in accordance with project proposals, Concern procedures and donor contract obligations
To provide overall strategic, technical and management leadership to the livelihoods sector in Concern Worldwide Malawi, ensuring that the highest standards of programme implementation, monitoring, evaluation and reporting are attained
To provide overall field level supervision and coordination, ensuring the implementation and accomplishment of the objectives of Concern Worldwide, Income and markets (FIM) programme in the operational areas
Monitor and Support Programme Support Officers in completing their tasks effectively and efficiently, Prepare and submit weekly/monthly/quarterly workplans as per established schedules, With project staff, regularly review progress against set targets, and make recommendations to ensure appropriate progress toward project objectives, Directly implements activities on a TA/EPA level and train beneficiaries in CA practices, and agribusiness related issues according to project proposal, Coordinate input supplied to beneficiaries in close cooperation with the Project Manager, Ensure that field activities are implemented as outlined in the project agreement and in accordance with the organisations principles, Develops monitoring and evaluation plans for partner projects with beneficiaries/communities, ensuring these feed into the Project M&E plan at an area and national level, Facilitate partners to collect data for effective monitoring, influencing management decision and planning, Document and disseminate lessons learned with partners at TA and community level

Diploma or Degree in Agriculture, Crop Production, Agricultural Extension, Plant Science, Soil Science or Horticulture, At least 4 yrs experience in participatory project implementation or agricultural extension work, Expertise in crop production, soil fertility management and agribusiness planning, God understanding of community based approaches, Strong facilitation, communication and mentoring skills, Candidates must be prepared to ride a motorcycle
