SENIOR LECTURER/LECTURER IN MANAGEMENT (Re- Advertisement)
VACANCY NO: FB/M 11/2013
Duties: The successful candidate will be expected to: (i) teach Management courses to undergraduate and graduate students; courses, include, but are not limited to Human Resource Management (HRM) and Leadership; (ii) supervise students’ research projects, theses and dissertations at both undergraduate and graduate levels; (iii) supervise students on internship (iv) participate in all academic and professional activities of the department as well as community service, normally associated with a university lectureship; (v) undertake any other duties as may be assigned by the Head of Department.
Requirements: Senior LecturerCandidates should have: (i) at least a Masters’ Degree in Management or related discipline; (ii) a Bachelors’ Degree in Management or related fields with at least a 2.1 Pass/GPA of at least 3.6; (iii) at least years of teaching experience at a University or comparable institution and have a record of teaching Human Resource Management and Leadership; (iv) a cumulative and sustained record of research and publications with at least (six) 6 publications, 4 of which are peer reviewed journal articles; (v) lead and/or single author in at least 2 refereed journal articles or book chapters; (vi) applicants should demonstrate evidence of service; (vii) a relevant PhD and  demonstration of effective academic leadership will be added advantages. The curriculum vitae (CV) should contain a detailed list of publications; clearly specifying titles of publications, dates published, name(s) of publishers and name(s) of co-authors if any. Publications should be categorized into: books, monographs, refereed and non-refereed journals, chapters in books, etc.
Lecturer:  Applicants should have (i) at least a Masters’ Degree in Management or related discipline; (ii) a Bachelor’s Degree in Management or related discipline with at least a 2.1 Pass/GPA of at least 3.6; (iii) applicants should demonstrate evidence of service; (iv) a relevant PhD, teaching experience at a university or comparable institution preferably in Human Resources Management and Leadership and demonstration of effective academic leadership will be added advantages.
