Project: Consulting Services for Detailed Designs for Intake on Shire River, Water Treatment Works, Pump Stations, Pipelines and Reservoirs  Country Location: Shire River, MALAWI Duration: 27 Months - Note: Please note that all Qualifications / Project Experience referenced must be accompanied with Certificates/References. - Only qualifications and experience periods with documented proofs will be taken into account

TEAM LEADER/PROJECT MANAGER Requirements: - The Team Leader should have at least a Masters Degree in water engineering or equivalent - Have at least 15 years experience in design, construction and supervision of large water supply infrastructure projects - Have at least 5 years experience as a team leader on similar assignments; - Previous experience working in the region with a knowledge of: the local culture and Government administrative system - Fluency in both written and spoken English is mandatory, whilst communication skills are essential.

CIVIL/STRUCTURAL ENGINEER Requirements: - Should have at least a Masters Degree in structural engineering or equivalent - Have at least 15 years experience in structural design including water retaining structures - Be registered with a recognized professional body/institution - Previous experience working in the region with a knowledge of the local culture and Government administrative system - Fluency in both written and spoken English is mandatory, whilst communication skills are essential.

WATER SUPPLY ENGINEER Requirements - Have at least a Bachelors Degree in civil engineering or equivalent - Have at least 10 years experience in design, construction and supervision of water supply infrastructures; - Previous experience working in the region with a knowledge of: the local culture and Government administrative system

PIPELINE SURGE SPECIALIST Requirements: - Have at least a Bachelors Degree in civil or mechanical engineering or equivalent - Have at least 10 years experience in water hammer (surge pressure) analysis, design and construction supervision of surge control infrastructure - Previous experience working in the region with a knowledge of the local culture and Government administrative system

WATER TREATMENT WORKS SPECIALIST Requirements: - Have at least a Masters Degree in water engineering or sanitary engineering or a Bachelors degree in chemical engineering or equivalent - Have at least 10 years experience in design, construction and supervision of water treatment works - Previous experience working in the region with a knowledge of the local culture and Government administrative system APPLY
