Human Resources Assistant
The U.S. Embassy in Maputo is seeking one individual for the position of Human Resources Assistant in the Human Resources Office.
BASIC FUNCTION OF POSITION
Under the supervision of the Human Resources Specialist, the incumbent provides a wide range of HR services. Portfolio includes but it is not limited to: employee evaluation reports, recruitment, accreditation, orientation, the Foreign Service Exam, and other HR services. The incumbent handles a portfolio of Mission sections/agencies to handle their Human Resources needs.

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED
1.Two years of University level studies in human resources or business administration or Law
2. Three years’ experience in Human Resources, business administration, or government administration for an international organization required.
3. Level IV (fluency) in speaking/reading/written English is required. Level IV (fluency) in speaking/reading/written Portuguese is required.
4. Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills in dealing with a wide variety of clients is required. Strong organizational skills are required to manage a number of competing tasks.
5. Good working knowledge of word processing, spreadsheets, and e-mail software are required. Ability to identify problems, meet deadlines and work independently is required.
