Laundry Supervisor – Blantyre Hotels Limited,

Reporting to the Housekeeping manager, the Laundry Supervisor is responsible for the efficient operation of the Laundry section of the hotel

Laundering of all linen including towels, sheets, table cloths etc in a cost-effective manner and ensure that an adequate supply of clean linen in a good state of repair to various service depts. of the hotel, ensuring that all housekeeping and laundry stock and supplies are timeously requisitioned, correct stock levels are maintained and stored under  optimum conditions, Taking stock of all operating equipment and housekeeping material sat specified intervals and required records are properly maintained, Supervision of housekeeping staff and ensure that STAFF are appraised against the required service standards and that the standards are consistently met and consistently maintained

Must have a minimum of Diploma in Hospitality Management, Must have strong supervisory skills, must have at least 3 yrs relevant experience working in a busy laundry in a similar role, Must be computer literate, Must be able to work under pressure and never miss deadlines
