Quality Monitoring Services Technician – 4 posts – Temporary

Reporting to: Quality Monitoring Services Officer
Conducts conformance, assessment activities under Import Quality Monitoring Scheme resulting into insurance of Import Conformance Batch Certificates or reports, managing records, conducts quality audits and assists in preparation of workplans and reports
Assisting in preparation of work plans, budgets and progress reports for the Imports Quality Monitoring Scheme, Conducting inspection for imports and exports and other industrial inspections in accordance with relevant specifications, Sampling of products for quality conformance assessment, Analysis of conformance assessment result and reporting, Assisting in updating and maintaining records for Imports Quality Monitoring Scheme, Conducting any other duties assigned from time to time
Applicants should be holders of a Diploma in Natural Sciences or Engineering with minimum of 2 yrs ofindustrial experience in quality related activities

Job purpose : To provide administrative support services
Manning barriers, General cleanliness of office and its premises, delivery of mails, Preparation and serving of tea, nay other relevant duties as assigned from time to time
Applicants should have a minimum qualification of MSCE and at least 2 yrs experience in busy office

Accounts Assistant – 2 posts

Reporting to Assistant Financial Accountant
Issuing invoices and receipts, Preparing financial returns, Filing of accounting documents, Maintenance of petty cash, Banking, Any other relevant duties as assigned from time to time
Applicants should be holders of a minimum MSCE with credit in Mathematics and a holder of Certificate in Financial Accounting from a recognised institution, Minimum of 2 yrs working experience in a busy working environment, Should be willing to work during odd hours and weekends

Quality Monitoring Services Officer – 1 post

Reporting to : Quality Monitoring Services Manager
Coordinates activities and conducts inspection, sampling and analysis of conformance assessment results under Import quality monitoring Scheme resulting in issuance of Import Conformance Certificates to complying products and reports to non-complying products, Manages records, conducts industrial quality audits, prepares weekly, monthly and quarterly progress reports, work plans and budgets and performs any other duties assigned from time to time
Receiving and distributing laboratory results for processing, Carrying out inspections and sampling from import and expert consignments, Drafting and checking import reports and certificates to meet set standards, Monitoring progress of dispatch of processed results, Ensuring urgent processing of rejection reports and proper enforcement of rejection orders, Processing annual Import Certificates for clients, Preparing and updating list of Annual Import Certificates, Managing records for the work centre including updating of electronic databases, Compiling weekly, monthly and quarterly progress reports, Providing liaison services other MBS depts., importers, consumers and other stakeholders
Applicants should be holders of a Bachelors Degree in Natural Sciences or Engineering with a minimum of 2 yrs of industrial experience in quality related activities, Laboratory experience would be advantageous
