Human Resource Officer – Mzuzu – Saint John of God Hospitaller

A Degree in Human Resources Management, Public/Business Administration or related field from a recognised university, At least 5 yrs experience in a similar position in a busy organisation, Computer literacy with excellent knowledge of Human Resource Information System (HRMIS), Strong supervisory and managerial skills, Willingness to work mentally challenged people and their families

Will be responsible for managing the human resource function of Saint john of God Hospitaller Services- a Catholic health care organisation providing mental health services in Mzuzu City and environs, S/he will ensure that human resource policies, procedures and standards as approved by management are implemented and will facilitate line managers to properly carry out the human resource management function within their depts.

Will be responsible for implementing financial policies, procedures and standards, overseeing capturing of financial data, producing management and project accounts, and other financial information, preparation for annual external audits etc

Bachelor of Accountancy and/or ACCA, CIMA, At least 3 yrs of progressively responsible accounting experience in a busy organisation, Those with experience in project accounting will have added advantage, Competency in using SAGE Line 50 and Microsoft excel spreadsheets,
