The Analyst will work as a key member of the M&C SSA team, supporting business growth and execution excellence within the region
Lead planning cycles including developing estimates, operating plans / forecasts / reviews, Blueprint, SII and Operating Plan
Working closely with cross function business partners to make sure finance performance targets are properly aligned, providing analytical results and valuable recommendations;
Lead monthly & quarterly financial closing activities for M&C in SSA region
Drive the forecasting processes, such as weekly pacing, and develop continuous variance analysis on key business metrics to understand trends, risks, opportunities and variances to targets with strong focus on convertible orders and sales;
Provide commercial finance support to Sales and CommOps organizations to finalize deals as per GE policy;
Track channel partners' financial performance and support the business in driving improvements across the M&C channel partners;
Perform plant finance management through measuring and reporting key performance indicators on direct labor, direct material, inventory assessment and productivity projects
Base cost bullet train visibility and review, productivity analysis. Project review with Operations on deal profitability analysis and drive opportunities in margin enhancement;
Track regional monthly and quarterly closing activities to ensure compliance with reporting requirements
Monthly / Quarterly pre-close calls with regional teams to review closing, highlighting significant items
Accounts Receivable regional review to improve collections and reduce past due invoices
Providing necessary support to accounting team;
Ad-hoc finance analysis work.
Bachelor degree in accounting or finance
At least 4 years’ experience in accounting, finance and/or analytical positions
Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills and cross-functional communication capability
Organized and inclusive working style
Proactive communication and open to different functions for ideas/recommendations
Strong ownership of work and willing to deliver results
