o S/he will have a Master's Degree in water treatment or related engineering field.
- Experience
(i) General experience
He/she should have at least 10 years of experience in providing technical support concerning the management of the brine disposals resulting from the RO plants, with the emphasis on the studying the environmental impacts, the mixing zones concept, and selecting appropriate methods/technologies for Algae control/minimization at the intakes of drinking water treatment plants.
(ii) Specific experience
- Language and computer skills
o The expert shall be fluent in oral and written English. Knowledge of Arabic would be an asset.
o Professional experience with MS-Office is required.

- Experience and Knowledge of PRAG (Practical Guide to Contract Procedures for EC external actions) Specifically in Service Contract.
- Experience in the design of at least one EU projects involving Technical Assistance projects related to water/waste water sector would be an asset.
- Experience in the country and in the region would be an asset.
