Supporting Finance department in performance of daily accounting tasks in addition to month and quarter end close activities and reporting.
Help drive overall simplification of internal finance processes, e.g. Buy-to-Pay (B2P) post SAP implementation issues.
  • Maintenance of daily B2P submissions for Xerox, Transit and Markview bucket analysis.
  • Full Account and CC analysis of RS-Activ monthly invoices to ensure correct GL accounting treatment.
  • Maintenance of supplier reminder records and subsequent invoice hold investigation and resolution.
  • Proactive SAP data analysis true up to Trade Payable Service (TPS) payment reports.
  • Analysis and true up of supplier payment terms in SAP and Supplier Master File (SMF) data.
  • Preparation of supporting documentation for account reconciliation cycles.
  • Ad hoc reports / analyses and metric reporting may be required.
  • Contribute to other Finance team tasks on a weekly basis.
  • College/university degree or equivalent in Finance / Accounting / Management / Economics or other numerical based degree
  • Previous analytical experience is a plus
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills and a team player
  • Responsible, self-motivated, ability to work independently and under pressure to meet internal deadlines
  • Detail-oriented
  • Good spreadsheet and computer proficiency
  • Good communication skills in both German and English
  • Hands-on experience with SAP Accounting System is a plus
