Team Leader / Senior Economist

Project Title:  Final Evaluation of the Maputo Water Supply Project
General Experience:

• A solid and diversified experience in their specific field of expertise
• Experience in the region (years of experience may vary per expert irrespective of their position on the team);
• Full working knowledge of English language, according to specific requisites below and excellent report writing
• Fully conversant with the principles and working methods of project cycle management for, at least two of three experts including the Team Leader;.
• Team Leader should show previous experience in, at least, two evaluations in the field of water supply projects in the last five years.
• Specific experience in the management of infrastructure projects in the framework of a multidonor co-financed framework will be an asset for any of the experts.
• Sound level of knowledge and experience in the WASH sector and evaluation of projects.

Specific Experience:

• University degree in Economy or related discipline
• Minimum 10 years of extensive and relevant experience in the field of the present evaluation, including funding and management of large projects. Previous experience in large co-financed projects will be an advantage.
