Tetra Tech ARD, a leading international development consulting firm based in Burlington, Vermont and Washington, D.C., is currently accepting expressions of interest from qualified technical experts for an anticipated USAID-funded Forest and Biodiversity Conservation Program in Malawi. This multi-year program will promote rural livelihood development and forest conservation across Malawi. It is anticipated that the program will focus on the development of demonstration projects to further REDD readiness and conserve biodiversity. Long and short term positions are available and local and regional candidates are encouraged to apply.
We are seeking specialists in the following areas
*Community based natural resource management *REDD+ site development and implementation *Rural livelihoods development *Food security *Biodiversity conservation
Qualifications: *Graduate degree in natural resources management, climate change, water resources, business administration or related field; *Minimum 5 years of technical experience in an appropriate field; *Experience in Malawi required; *Experience working on large donor funded projects; experience working with USAID projects preferred; *Excellent written and oral language skills in English are required.
