RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
IRG is seeking a Director of Administration & Finance to ensure compliance of all grants and subcontracts with USAID regulations. The DAF will monitor achievement of matching investment targets, grants and subcontract disbursements, accruals and other financial indicators; Manage administrative personnel and functions of the project offices, including human resources, accounting, reporting to local tax authorities, banking and coordination with IRG/Engility Operations and Compliance at HQ.
MINIMUM TANGIBLE QUALIFICATIONS:
- At least a Master’s degree in business, economics, statistics, international development, or related field
- A least 7 years' of experience with financial management and administration for international development projects
- At least 3 years’ experience managing sub-grants and sub-contracts, and demonstrated knowledge of USAID regulations related to the oversight of such instruments
- Demonstrated ability to oversee day-to-day budgetary, logistical, contracts management and operations activities to ensure efficient and compliant implementation
- Preferred experience working with USAID or other USG programs
- Excellent oral and written English language communication skills.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Experience working in Malawi or the region preferred
