Candidates should have Bachelors of Science Degree with at least a Credit and an outstanding undergraduate record in Engineering Materials, Material Science, Solid Mechanics, and Strength and Properties of Materials or the position of Staff Associate, Those applying for Lecture level must have a Bachelors Degree with at least credit and Master of Science or a PhD in Engineering Materials, Candidates applying for Senior lecturer level and above must have a Bachelors Degree with at least credit and Master of Science or a  PhD in Engineering Materials plus relevant publications

Candidates should have a Bachelors Degree in Procurement and Logistics Management with credit/distinction if applying for staff associate level, Those applying for lecturer level must have a Bachelors Degree in Procurement and Logistics Management with credit/distinction if applying for staff associate level, Those applying for Lecture level must have a Bachelors Degree in Procurement and Logistics plus Level 7 Executive Diploma in Purchasing and Supply from Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supply or Masters Degree in Supply Chan Management or its equivalent from a reputable University, Candidates applying for Senior Lecture Level and above must have relevant publications, a bachelors Degree in Procurement and Logistics plus Level 7 Executive Diploma in purchasing and Supply from Chartered institute of Purchasing and Supply or Masters Degree in Supply Chain Management and a PhD in a related field
