Project Facilitator, CIAT

The Position:
CIAT is seeking to recruit a self-motivated Project Facilitator to lead and coordinate the design and implementation of the project’s activities according to the projects annual work plan and budgets to deliver the expected outputs and outcomes. In addition to regular monitoring of project performance, the Project Facilitator will be expected to provide routine reports as stipulated in the project agreement document.

Research Associate-Nutrition, CIAT

CIAT is seeking to recruit a versatile Nutrition Associate to support the above-mentioned project in Malawi. Under the direct supervision of the CIAT-Nutritional Facilitator, and with technical support from other project scientists, the Nutrition Associate will assist with the assessment of the food and nutrition context in the targeted districts and conduct other related studies to inform intervention, design and nutrition outcomes. The position will also coordinate implementation of nutrition field work and assess the effectiveness of delivery systems and promotional strategies in creating demand and access to targeted legumes and cereals.

Monitoring, Learning & Evaluation Associate, CIAT

Position Summary:

CIAT is seeking to recruit a self-motivated Monitoring, Learning & Evaluation Associate to support the above-mentioned project in Malawi. Under the direct supervision of the Seed Business and Development Specialist and with technical backstopping from other project scientists, the ML&E Associate will lead and coordinate the design and implementation of the project’s performance monitoring and outcome evaluation; provide an assessment of technology adoption, support partnerships for strengthening bean seed systems, draw out learning lessons and provide feedback to the project implementation process.

Driver/Mechanic, CIAT

Position:

CIAT is seeking to recruit a proactive Driver/Mechanic who will be responsible for of driving field staff to the various research sites in the Southern African region and provide routine mechanical service to CIAT vehicles. The Driver/Mechanic will work closely with scientists, support staff as well as colleagues from National Agriculture Research System (NARS) institutes collaborating with CIAT.
