The role
  • Normal office duties, typing letters, memo’s, minutes of meetings, faxes
  • Assist that all documents are filed in an orderly manner
  • Relieving administrators in other departments
  • Ordering Stationary
  • Arrange all functions and ordering of canteen requirements
  • Payment req’s to accounts
  • Assisting with Debtors queries/POD’s
  • Assisting with general customer queries
  • Assisting with creditors/suppliers queries
  • Opening of new jobs on the system and completion of data packs
  • Quotation to customers
  • Following up on outstanding orders from customers
  • Assisting with creditors/suppliers queries
Your Profile
  • Grade 12
  • Advance computer literacy
  • English proficiency
  • 2 Years experience in office duties.
  • Experience working in Aurora will be an advantage

ASSISTANT ACCOUNTANT

Sandvik seeks:
Assistant Accountant
The role
  • Debtors control collection and receipts processing.
  • Cash book, Bank reconciliation and transaction processing.
  • Local and foreign creditors and Treasury Department
  • Reconciliation of all balance sheet accounts.
  • Responsible for management of work in progress transactions and workshop related transactions.
  • Responsible for the accurate submission and filing of all BURS payments and returns.
  • Creditors, processing invoices and payments and reconciling all supplier accounts.
  • Responsible for the processing of all expenses and payments of all services.
Your profile
  • Diploma / Degree in Financial Management/Financial Accounting
  • Part Qualification - ACCA/CIMA or similar
  • Valid driver’s license and passport.
  • Proven competence in Microsoft applications - advanced in Excel
  • Business language requirement
  • Should be familiar with one ERP Pastel/SAP etc.
  • People management skills.
  • At least 3-year’s experience in the finance department
  • Ability to work with minimum supervision.
  • Deadline driven – very tight schedule
  • Good communication skills
  • Motivated and ability to work under pressure
  • Must be willing learn and able to develop academically.
  • Good working knowledge of the Botswana tax laws.
