NEW JOBS IN LILONGWE AT LLCHC , JUNE 2017


The Archdiocese of Lilongwe Catholic Health Commission (LLCHC) is the Social and Health Arm of the Archdiocese of Lilongwe It ensures that the health services that the Catholic Church Provides in the Archdiocese are accessible to the rural masses and the quality of care being provided is in line with professional standards and in the footsteps of Jesus Christ the founder of the Healing Ministry
The Archdiocese covers seven districts of Lilongwe, Kasungu, Dowa, Ntchisi, Nkhotakota, Salima and Mchinji.
LLCHC champions the following two major tasks, mandates and operations.
  • Coordination of health services at its 17 health facilities as follows Likuni Mission hospital, Namitete hospital, Madisi hospital, Mlale community hospital, Mtengowanthenga community hospital, Nambuma Community hospital: Kapiri Community hospital, Ludzi Community hospital, Guilleme Community hospital, Alinafe Community hospital, Kaphatenga health centre , Thavite health centre, Chitala health centre, Malambo health centre, Senjere health centre Cheer health centre, St John of God the hospitaller services area 43 campus and Mtsiliza health centre
  • Coordination of community health programmes such as HIV/ AIDS, Nutrition, Tuberculosis, Sexual and reproductive health, Early Childhood Development, Malaria, OVC, Maternal and Child Health, Water Hygiene and Sanitation, School Health and Gender Based Violence among others_
With funding from USAID through CRS, LLCHC would like to recruit the following individuals in the ‘ Improve the health and well-being outcomes for orphans and vulnerable children affected by HIV/AIDS and other adversities’ for a 2 year project in Lilongwe district
Community Caseworker Supervisors – 11 positions
Description
Community Caseworker Supervisors will manage case workers to ensure the high quality implementation of the case management system that strengthens families with OVC and provides them with access to all the services they require to graduate out of vulnerability
Microfinance officer – 3 positions
Description
The position is there to maintain proper tracking and training of village savings and loans to the beneficiaries.
Procurement Officer – 1 position
Description
The procurement officer will work under direct supervision of the Commission Accountant and will guide the purchase of medical and non-medical goods, services and civil works, either directly or through a specialized procurement agents
REMUNERATION
LLCHC will provide attractive remuneration packages as approved by the donor in the project budget.
