Assistant Accountant
A. Essential duties/responsibilities will include the following:• Document financial transactions by entering account information into electronic databases
• Complete general ledger operations
• Prepare monthly financial statements and closings
• Reconcile/maintain balance sheet accounts
• Prepare analysis of accounts as requested
• Administer accounts receivable and accounts payable
• Prepare tax computations and returns
• Prepare monthly account/bank reconciliations
• Assist with year-end closings
• Assist in preparing budgets and forecasts
• Assist with payroll administration
• Review and process expense reports/claims
• Assist with preparation and coordination of audit process
• Assist with implementing and maintaining internal financial controls and procedures Accountant A. Essential duties and responsibilities will include the following: • Document financial transactions by entering account information into electronic databases • Prepare payments by verifying documentation, and requesting disbursements • Summarize current financial status by collecting information, preparing balance sheets, management accounts and financial reports to sponsors and other reports • Oversee tax remittance and VAT claim processes • Maintain financial security by following internal controls • Maintain accounting controls by preparing and recommending policies and procedures to management • Substantiate financial transactions by auditing documents • Reconcile financial discrepancies • Secure financial information by ensuring correct paper and electronic document storage and completing database backups • Prepare budgets • Ensure departmental readiness for sponsor and other financial audits • Recommend financial actions to grant holders and management • Guide/supervise accounting department staff
Communications Officer
The Communications office is part of a management function, which is responsible for effective leadership and direction of the Project. The officer will be responsible for defining and enhancing a consistent identity for the Project internally and externally. The communications officer’s core functions are strategic leadership in communication both for internal and external Project communications.
A. Specific responsibilities:
• Develop/implement an innovative and comprehensive communications strategy
• Act as spokesperson for the Project when needed
• Coordinate/lead the Project’s research communications effort for major public health initiatives and new challenges
• Coordinate internal and external research disseminations
• Provide top-level communication advice to the Project’s management and staff
• Enhance the Project’s visibility in the media and public health communities
• Incorporate appropriate modern communications tools and channels
• Promote research messages, communications activities and interests to senior internal and external partners
• Monitor and evaluate communications activities in order to improve them
• Update website with publications
• Assist with PowerPoint presentations (beautifications)

Data Analyst
The Data Analyst shall be responsible for providing analytic support to a range of research projects, with the opportunity for publication and professional growth. She/he will provide expertise to manage, manipulate, analyze and interpret data, and write reports and scientific manuscripts. This person will be expected to have knowledge of data analysis tools and computer systems technology to do the data management.
A. Major Responsibilities will include:
• Support design of data instruments
• Develop databases
• Provide analytic support to a range of research projects
• Develop code that can be used for quantitative data analysis and manipulation
• Conduct data cleaning
• Conduct statistic testing and statistical modeling
• Interpret data and develop recommendations based on findings
• Monitor for timely and accurate completion of selected data elements (for example, verbal physician orders).
• Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets.
• Lead and contribute to scientific manuscripts
• Generate routine and ad hoc reports
• Support statistical learning and advancement among colleagues
• Perform any other duties assigned from time to time

Assistant Data Manager
The Assistant Data Manager will be responsible for helping to produce reports, standardizing data collection and management, overseeing quality assurance and control, and enforcing research ethics, resource planning and management.
S4 Cohort Data Manager
The S4 Cohort Data Manager will join the collaborative team of the S4 Study, Baobob Health, and Lighthouse Clinic in providing data management and analytical support. She/he will provide expertise to acquire, manage, manipulate and analyze the EMR data and report results.
Research Medical Officer
Summary:
The research medical officer will be responsible for participation as a member of the Medical Team in providing care as well as monitoring and evaluating study participants. He/she will collaborate with other disciplines and health care staff to ensure optimum care for the study participants. He/she will participate in quality improvement activities.
