Banja La Mtsogolo (BLM) is a Malawian Non-Governmental Healthcare Organization established in 1987 BLM provides quality Family Planning and Reproductive Healthcare including HIV/AIDS information and interventions. BLM Is a senior member of the Marie Stapes International Partnership which works in 37 countries. BLM exists to improve quality of life in Malawi through family planning and reproductive health care services BLM serves over 800,000 clients annually and makes a significant contribution to national family planning objectives. The organization has national coverage, operating through 29 clinics, over 460 outreach sites and a network of 47 private franchises_

CENTRE MANAGERS

POSITION FUNCTION

Reporting to the Centre Coordinator, the Centre Manager is responsible for the efficient and effective operations of a BLM clinic

CLINICIANS

JOB PURPOSE:

Providing overall leadership in the dedicated mobile outreach team towards efficiency and effectiveness to achieve the project and BLM goals

NURSE PROVIDERS

JOB PURPOSE

To provide high quality sexual and reproductive health (SRI-I) services and excellent customer care, in line with MSI and BLM policies, procedures and standards.

NURSE AIDES

JOB PURPOSE:

To keep the area of operations clean at all times to ensure infection prevention and client care standards are maintained in line with MSI protocols

HTC COUNSELLORS

JOB PURPOSE

To provide high quality voluntary counselling and testing for HIV during mobile outreach services

Drivers

JOB PURPOSE

Reporting to the Transport Officer, the driver will be responsible for driving BLM vehicles on official journeys and for the care of the vehicle.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS

Holds an awareness of own abilities and areas for development, adapts and uses abilities to work well with others and to help achieve BLMs objectives.
Engages with others inside and outside the organisation to promote the interests of BLM and those we work with, gathers and shares a wider knowledge of issues relevant to BLMs work
