Post: Chief Accountant (Grade F)

Qualifications
- Applicants should be Principal Accountants (Grade G) with a minimum of three (3) years experience at that grade.
Duties
- Control and coordinate accounting functions in a Ministry/Department;
- Control expenditure;
- Prepare final accounts quarterly and monthly accounts;
- Attend to financial queries, audit and investigations, etc
Department of Accountant General: Vac. 11/17
Post: Senior Assistant Accountant (Grade J)
Salary: Within the Grade J salary scale segment –
Qualifications
- Applicants should be serving Senior Assistant Accountants (Grade J) with a minimum of four (4) years experience at that grade.
Duties
- Prepare estimates,
- Prepare accounts to balance sheet-level;
- Control expenditure;
- Supervise junior staff;
- Attend financial meetings, etc.
Department of Accountant General: Vac. 12/17
Post : Assistant Accountant (Grade K)
Salary : Within the Grade K salary scale segment
Location : Various Ministries and Departments
Qualifications
- Applicants should be in possession of a diploma in either Accounting, Finance or Business Management/Administration/Studies obtained from recognized institutions.
Duties
- Prepare payment vouchers;
- Check monthly, quarterly and annual expenditure financial statements for errors;
- Maintain manual ledgers;
- Print and review itemized expenditure and commitment reports from IFMS;
- Prepare bank reconciliation, etc.
Central Internal Audit Unit
Department of Accountant General: Vac. 8/17
Post: Principal Accountant (Grade G)
Salary: Within the Grade G salary scale segment
Location : Various Ministries and Departments
Qualifications
- Applicants should be Senior Accountants (Grade H) regardless of experience at that grade and Accountants (Grade I)
- With a minimum of four (4) years experience at that grade..
Duties
- Prepare estimates;
- Prepare balance sheets;
- Counter-sign documents;
- Attend financial meetings;
- Attend audit queries, etc
Department of Accountant General: Vac. 9/17
Post: Accountant (Grade I)
Salary : Within the Grade I salary scale segment
Location : Various Ministries and Departments
Qualifications
Applicants should be serving Senior Assistant Accountants (Grade J) with a minimum of four (4) years experience at that grade.

- Prepare estimates, prepare accounts to balance sheet-level;
- Control expenditure;
- Supervise junior staff;
- Attend financial meetings, etc.
Note:
Documentary evidence of major requirements specified in the advertisement shall be needed during interviews. Serving officers will also be required to demonstrate during the interviews that they are permanent and pensionable officers in the Civil Service by producing letters of confirmation in appointment in addition to letters of appointment (PSR 19).
