CIB Business Manager - Standard Bank Malawi Ltd 
Under Corporate and Investment Banking tenable in Lilongwe
Reporting to the Head, CIB, will provide analytical, research and administrative support to the Country IB Head and participate in strategic CIB projects and coordinate all forums, presentations to various committees including Franco, Govco and Stratco 
Bachelors Degree in Economics, Business Administration, Accounting or Finance, Those with a masters degree or working towards their CFA qualification will have an added advantage, 3 to 5yrs work experience, preferably within Corporate and Investment Banking with deep understanding of the “business model” in Corporate and Investment Banking, Experience in  a client facing role and senior management presentation, At least 6 months working experience in credit/loan area, Ability to understand bank procedure and practice, Self motivated and energetic, Ability to prioritise tasks and manage work volumes, Sound people management skills, Strong team player, Excellent analytical and problem solving skills with great attention to detail, Excellent interpersonal communication skills 
Overall Strategy - Undertake the formulating and articulation of a business strategy for the local Standard Bank/Stanbic CIB franchise, Implement the above together with CIB Head and local/regional Franco stakeholders 
Business Management/Financial Performance - Work with the local Fanco team (as well as regional stakeholders) to ensure quality submissions of the business plans, Periodically track country franchise performance against plans, and propose measures to address risks and challenges, Track, and if necessary challenge financial performance within SB Group (as opposed to locally accounted for and measured financials), Analyse financials, MIS, incoming documentation (as required) and highlight key matters/issues/requirements to the CIB Head and relevant Franco team members, Produce the performance level analysis needed to assist monthly performance reviews, Participate in business forums that require CIB representation, as mandated/required by the CIB Head, Generate good understanding o the CIB business model, Will gain exposure to senior levels 
Business Administration Presentation - Coordinate and consolidate CIB MIS (client Engagement model progress, Clients monitoring/planning, clients’ relationship mapping) submissions for Franco, Govco and as the case may be Stratco/Board, Conduct internal/external research on subject matters required by the CIB Head and local/regional Franco team members, Write up research reports/draft presentations on the above and present/disseminate to the relevant stakeholders, Provide administrative support to selected members of the CIB team (incl. Franco members at both local/regional level), Participate in and coordinate CIB Franco and committee forums, This includes the administrative functions of minute taking, drafting of the agenda as well as noting and tracking of action items
