Relationship Officers- Opportunity Bank Malawi - various branches across the country
To develop, grow and manage loan portfolio and provide quality customer service
Development and management of loan portfolio for IMC and PTB loans, mobilise savings and insurance business from the same, Achievement of growth targets as well as maintains excellent portfolio quality , Provision of reliable and quality customer service in a way that promotes OBM’s entire business and enhances transformation in clients’ lives, Marketing and business development of OBM products to achieve growth targets, maintain up to date knowledge of all OBM products and services, educate prospective and actual Clients on importance of Savings and other financial products, Collection and verification of all client information perform comprehensive assessment of Potential Clients and make objective recommendations based on character, credit worthiness and capacity, Monitoring loans to ensure there is regular loan repayments and take immediate action with past due payments according to OBM’s delinquency Management policies and procedures, Maintenance of excellent customer service

Knowledge of lending and compliance regulations and bank lending policies, Good mathematical skills, ability to calculate interest, commissions, percentage etc, Knowledge of the microfinance industry and community development Excellent negotiation, presentation, communication interpersonal, financial and/or credit analysis and relationship management skills, knowledge of the economy/markets where OBM is operating, Intermediate skills in personal computer operation, word processing and spreadsheet software

Bachelors Degree or Diploma in Business, Accounting or related field from a reputable university or professional equivalent, At least 2 yrs banking or finance experience, preferably in both operations and relationship management, Applicants who were recently retrenched from OBM will be given priority and those with motorbike licence will have an added advantage e
