Quality Assurance Director – 2 yr fixed term contract
Reporting to the Vice Principal
Annual monitoring of quality delivery of services at Kamuzu College of Nursing, Reviewing academic audit, Teaching management courses at both under post graduate levels
PhD plus 3 yr post PhD experience as an academia, Substantial knowledge and experience in regulations relating to academic quality management, Vast experience in writing substantial reports, Advanced ICT, statistical, analytical and communication skills
Director of Research
Director of Research - 4 yr fixed term renewable based on successful work performance
A research based PhD from a recognized University, Demonstrated leadership to a highly professional group and growing institution, Team building skills, Experience in transacting, negotiating and working with Senior Govt officials and cooperating partners, At least 5 yrs experience in the management of research and development programmes, experience in research and publication
Monitoring research management system to ensure compliance with University of Malawi and Partners guidelines and procedures, Developing procedures for implementation and monitoring performance of research grants, Facilitating the preparation of research technical and financial reports in accordance with University of Malawi and partners of research projects rules and regulations, Ensuring timely submission of periodic research progress reports, Facilitating timely auditing of research project accounts and submission of financial statements from research projects, Mentoring faculty and students in research, Preparing project contracts in consultation with Principal Investigators
