The Malawi Revenue Authority (MRA) , an organisation entrusted with the assessment, collection and accounting for tax revenues for the Malawi Gvvt is inviting applications form suitably quality individuals to fill the following vacant positions
Wellness officer - Grade E1

Division Human Resources, Reports to Rewards and Benefits Manager 

Maintain medical and other related records of all employees, Organise regular medical examinations of all employees to ensure that MRA has a health workforce, Collaborates with other multi disciplinary professionals and community agencies to provide high quality health care, Conducting spot checks in hospitals to ensure value for money, Assessing and recommending Hospitals/clinics for inclusion in the MRA approved list of Hospitals, Coordinating aerobics programs, Internal consultancies amongst staff as regard their health and wellbeing and provide counselling  where necessary, Manage the MRA wellness programme that includes coordinating the health awareness programs amongst staff, Organising and submitting expert opinions on second reviews for staff on foreign treatments, Providing first opinion on foreign referrals for staff, Scrutinizing invoices from hospitals to ensure that the treatment corresponds with the bill, Manage the MRA medical scheme that includes as the liaison person with hospitals, Assist with generating reports, including but not limited to wellness program tracking and utilization, risks change and program analysis  

Diploma in Clinical Medicine or relevant medical qualification, 2 to 3 yrs of community health experience required, Certification in Counselling will be an added advantage

Must be of a sober character, Have a high degree of integrity, tact, diplomacy and corporate spirit, Be resilient and able to work well under pressure, Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, Ability to assist others and take on additional responsibilities
