Herbicide Supervisor - Illovo Sugar (Malawi) Ltd, Nchalo Estate
MSCE, Diploma in Natural Resources Management, Should have 2 yrs experience in an Agricultural setting, Knowledge and experience in pre-task safety risk assessment and controls
Supervising Storekeeper and Knapsack Serviceman, Conducting weed spectrum assessment for the whole estate, Submitting usage reports of Herbicide and fertilisers monthly, Training different areas on proper fertiliser and herbicide application, Enforcing work place Safety, Health and Environmental (SHE) measures
Section Manager - Illovo Sugar (Malawi) Ltd, Nchalo Estate
Bachelor of Science Degree in Agriculture Engineering or related fields, Knowledge of Sugarcane agriculture will be a distinct advantage, Ability to motivate subordinates, Excellent leadership skills, At least 2 yrs experience in an agricultural management post
Planning, implementing, organising and monitoring care growing activities for maximum sugar production, Creating, compiling and controlling material and labour budgets for the section, Setting an controlling performance standards for section supervisors, capitaos and general workers, Training needs identification for staff as tool for motivation and continuous improvement, Enforcing work place Safety, Health and Environmental (SHE) measures
