Finance & Administration Manager
Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be expected to perform the following duties among others:

- Prepare and interpret Management Accounts.
- Manage and administer payables and receivables and general ledgers.
- Prepare annual budgets and work plans.
- Manage and administer projects.
- Monitor project finances.
- Manage procurement of office supplies and equipment.
- Prepare year-end audit schedules for external audit purposes.
- Managirg and administering tax issues.
- Maintaining Fixed Asset Register.
- Ensuring compliance with established financial and auditing procedures.
- Carry out any other duties that may be assigned from time to time by the Executive Committee or Director.
Projects and Complaints Handling Officer
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct a thorough review of all complaints against legal practitioners filed with the Society.
- Maintain an up to date comprehensive list of complaints including a summary of the
complaint, when it was lodged, and action taken to date. - Make recommendations to the President and/or the Chairperson of the Disciplinary Committee regarding each complaint.
- Maintain effective and efficient communication with complainants against members.
- Coordinate and implement donor funded projects according Within the approved parameters of specific projects.
- Be part of a management team constituting the Executive Director and the Finance and
- Administration manager charged with managing the Society’s Secretariat.
- Carry out such other duties as may be assigned by the Executive Director or the President of the Society.
Desirable Requirements:
- Conversant with Microsoft Office Packages including Word and Excel.
- Should be able to start working immediately or at short notice.
The successful candidates will be employed under the Society’s renewable employment contract making a minimum commitment of two (2) years’ service to the Society. The posts are based in Blantyre.
