ABOUT THE JOB:
Symbiotics SA is seeking an Associate Investment Analyst - Sub Saharan Africa. S/he will be responsible for assisting the investment analysts of the Sub Saharan Africa region in the analysis and monitoring of credit risk and country risk for institutions located in the region.
Tasks and Responsibilities:
- Input audited financial statements and liability information report for all investees in the region;
- Support the production of reports by investment analysts;
- Assist the investment analyst in maintaining up to date the institutional account and KYC process for Sub-Saharan institution;
- Support investment analysts in the production of country analysis reports.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in accounting and/or financial analysis;
- Dedicated to social and sustainable development;
- Knowledge of the microfinance industry a strong asset;
- Capacity to handle on-going multiple tasks on a daily basis;
- Fluent in English. French or Portuguese a strong asset;
- Valid working permit in South Africa.
