Key Responsibilities:
Amongst other tasks, the offcers will be responsible for the following:
1. Preparing and processing import and export documentation according
to customs regulations, rules of origin, laws, or procedures.
2. Advising taxpayers on import and export restrictions, tariff systems,
quotas, or other customs-related matters.
3. Classifying goods according to tariff coding systems.
4. Assessment of customs duty.
5. Conferring with offcials in various agencies to facilitate clearance of
goods for Trade Facilitation purposes.
6. Helping to prevent the importation of illegal and/or dangerous goods
including frearms, drugs, and endangered wildlife, etc. into and out of
Malawi
7. Any other duties as assigned from time to time.

Qualifcation(s)
Applicants should have a sound Bachelors’ Degree ONLY in Business
Administration, Finance, Accounting or Bachelor of Social Science with a
major in Economics and at a minimum, a Credit Award. This should be from
recognized Universities.
