TIMVENI TV is currently seeking volunteer male TV Presenter, who would be available to work on Weekends only.Timveni TV is a media house, located in Lilongwe - Area 47, Sector 5, house # 397. The station is broadcasted on the GoTV network (channel 803) and Malawi Digital Broadcasting Station.
Responsibilities: Reporting to the Station Manager, the TV Presenter/Producer will:

• Present pre-recorded or live-to-air programmes and ad-lib when necessary.
• Create concept ideas for TV programmes, write programme briefs.
• Write scripts, book guests and research content material.
• Conduct interviews, introduce show elements and relay information to programme viewers.
• Work side-by-side with Videographer/Editor through all elements of story production.
• Provide clear voice-overs.
• Help Marketing Department raise funds for programmes.
• Utilize social media to promote and broadcast TV programme.
• Maintain communication with the Station Manager.

Qualifications and Experience:
• Graduate of a Communications, Media, Broadcasting or Journalism program, or equivalent experience is an asset.
• Experience in TV Presenting and/or Producing.
• Articulate and charismatic, strong on-air presence, able to present for live-to-air programming.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong understanding of social media
• Must be able to take direction well, work in a team environment and work under pressure.
• Must be able to network professionally with NGO’s, individuals and Government Officials.
• Must be fluent in Chichewa and English
• Must be willing to work on weekends
