G4S Secure Solutions (Malawi) Limited seeks to fill the following vacant position:  
Regional Manager(s) – Secure Logistics
The position reports to the Head of Secure Logistics
Main purpose of the position
Managing the Secure Logistics business and its related sales and marketing functions for the services offered in the region.
Key Responsibilities
  • Managing and overseeing delivery and collection of customer consignments.
  • Ability to handle customer complaints and make decisions under pressure
  • Focusing on customer needs, Selling and Marketing of Secure Logistics and all G4S products
  • Management of the Secure Logistics Fleet
  • Reporting to Management on status of Secure logistics operations
  • Ensure maintenance of high level of security, control and performance standards adhering to policies and guidelines prescribed by the company
  • Ensuring compliance to Regulations in line with G4S courier operating license
  • Ensuring compliance to Health and Safety practices in line with G4S Golden rules
  • Management of human resources in line with HR policies.

Requirements (Qualifications and Experience)
  • Degree in Business Administration or equivalent field from a reputable University
  • Minimum of 5 years relevant working experience with specific reference to dealing with corporates, would be deemed appropriate for this management role.
  • Sales and Marketing abilities/experience
 System Monitoring & Response Manager
The position reports to the Head of Electronic Secure Systems.
Main purpose of the position
  • To direct and coordinate the business activities for the Control Room and Response operations in liaison with the Head of ESS, General and Zone Managers to achieve company strategic business objectives.
  • To effectively control and guide the System monitoring and Rapid Response teams to ensure that high operational standards are achieved in all areas of responsibility.
  • To manage resources and work processes that will ensure that all the contractual obligations to customers are achieved in a cost-effective manner while adhering to prescribed company procedures.
Key Responsibilities
  • Effective management of the daily operations of the Rapid Response section
  • Effective management of daily operations of the Systems Monitoring section ‘ p
  • Effective management of the Manpower resource
  • Effective Management of company resources
  • Customer Communications Management
  • Effective Budgetary Control
  • Ensuring compliance of the Health and Safety policy
  • Effective use of‘Control Room Software and equipment.
