lllovo Sugar (Malawi) plc. wishes to recruit a Warehouse Administration Officer to be based at Limbe Office. The incumbent will be reporting to the Warehouse Manager.
Key responsibility areas include:
- Liaising with Warehouse supervisors on stock/sugar requirements to ensure that each distribution Centre has enough Loading Authorities pending deliveries.
- Ensuring that stock transactions reported by distribution centres are being captured in S & D system on a daily basis.
- Following up on sugar uplifts from the mills to distribution centres.
- Coordinating periodic stock counts and ensuring that DC stock counts are conducted at least every month.
- Initiating recovery of stock losses and damages by distribution centres after stock take and stock reconciliations.
- Ensuring that customers are invoiced for sugar uplifts on the same day or within 24 hours.
- Running outstanding Loading Authorities report to identify long outstanding Loading authorities, ensuring that they are cancelled from the system and affected transporters are informed of the action.
- Monitoring DC supervisors and ensuring that they are submitting sales and stock returns on a daily basis.
- Ensuring that all work related documents are properly filed and kept within reach for referencing during audits and queries.
- Ensuring that all warehouses/DCs are safe and in hygienic condition.
QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration/ Accountancy/Supply Chain or equivalent plus 2 years relevant practical experience in a busy reputable organisation.
