FHI 360 is a non-profit human development organization dedicated to improving lives in lasting ways by advancing integrated, locally driven solutions. FHI 360 is seeking qualified candidates for the positions of Field Assistants to support Health Communication for Life (HC4L) project in collecting gender analysis data in Chikwawa, Salima and Karonga. HC4L is a social and behavior change communication (SBCC) project supporting Government of Malawi’s efforts to expand access to sustainable health services. The overarching objective of HC4L project is to promote behavior change in several areas namely: maternal, neonatal and child health (MNCH); reproductive health and family planning (RH/FP); malaria; nutrition, water, sanitation and hygiene (WASH); HIV and AIDS.
Field Assistants (Multiple positions)
BASIC FUNCTIONS:
The field assistants will support HC4L for a period of one month with the following activities;
- Conducting interviews with key stakeholders.
- Collecting and Transcribing Data during Participatory Action Media workshops.
EDUCATION:
Minimum of a Degree or Diploma in any field. Field assistant should have experience in Gender and research with preferred background and experience in qualitative data collection and analysis, prior experience with data transcription, experience using Microsoft Word and excel as well as Strong typing skills.
