Summary:
The IT Manager will oversee the FINCA Malawi IT Department, and will provide technical and administrative support for IT applications and IT infrastructure across head office and branches of FINCA Malawi.
Develop a Portfolio of IT Services that support the goals of the organization, deliver value and achieve a positive Return on investment.
Develop strategies and action plans to align technology to business processes of the Company.
Analyze business requirements and translate into technology solutions
Develop, implement and maintain policies and procedures related to information technology based on FINCA’s Global IS policies.
Monitor and optimize IT Services and good performance as a service provider.
Develop, implement and maintain Information Security Plan and Business Continuity Plan.

SUMMARY
The Chief Operations Officer (COO) is a member of the core Management Board with responsibility over FINCA’s Credit Operations Customer Experience Activities and Marketing, including staffing, products, and procedures related to this. S/he will ensure that FINCA will offer maximally competitive products that support outreach maximization under the condition of profitability; that these products are implemented in a most efficient, client-friendly, safe, and professional manner; and that FINCA has savings and credit staff in adequate numbers and with excellent skills.
The COO will strive to ensure that the company presents characteristics consistent with an ethos that will win community trust, responds to client needs and raises client awareness regarding the opportunities that FINCA’s products and services can provide. The COO will maximize FINCA’s outreach to the target group in a sustainable and profitable way.
As a member of the Management Team/Board, s/he shares responsibility for the overall performance and activities of FINCA, and participates in making decisions on material issues.
