Technical, Management, and Operations Staff


Chemonics seeks experienced professionals for the USAID-funded Global Health Supply Chain (GHSC) - Procurement and Supply Management (PSM) Project. GHSC-PSM ​will serve as the primary vehicle through which USAID will procure and furnish health commodities, provide technical assistance to improve partner countries' management of the supply chain, and collaborate with key international stakeholders to support global health initiatives. The project is currently seeking qualified candidates for senior management and technical positions for a team based in Malawi. We​ are looking for individuals who have a passion for making a difference in the lives of people around the world. We are currently recruiting for the following roles:
Technical and Management Specialists needed in:
  • Logistics, warehousing, and distribution
  • Pharmaceutical management/quality assurance
  • Health systems strengthening (malaria, family planning/reproductive health, HIV)
  • Electronic logistics management information systems
  • Supply chain monitoring and evaluation
  • Project monitoring and evaluation
  • Regional supply chain coordination
  • Data management
Qualifications:
  • Advanced degree in a relevant area required
  • Minimum of six years of experience in a relevant area
  • Experience in public health program management, pharmaceuticals and medical supplies, and/or supply chain management systems
  • Ability to manage and implement complex USAID-funded public health programs in a developing country context with multiple stakeholders
  • Excellent interpersonal, writing, and oral communication skills; proven diplomacy and experience working both independently and as part of a team
  • Demonstrated leadership, versatility, and integrity
  • Fluency in English required
Operations Specialists needed in:
  • Operations and administration
  • Accounting and finance
  • Contract management for warehousing and distribution
  • Human resources
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant area
  • At least four years of experience
  • Ability to manage and implement complex USAID-funded programs
  • Excellent interpersonal, writing, and oral communication skills; proven diplomacy and experience working both independently and as part of a team
  • Demonstrated leadership, versatility, and integrity
  • Fluency in English required
