Peace Corps, an international Development agency of the US govt has an immediate opening for a Driver/Mechanic, Successful candidate will work in consultation with the Motor pool Coordinator, General Services Management and Peace Corps Staff
Suitable candidate will be highly motivated and pay close attention to detail, Previous work with international volunteer organisations or in culturally diverse workplaces desired
Minimum 5 yrs of progressively responsible experience as professional driver and automotive mechanic in a cross cultural setting, The candidate must be able to work independently and pay close attention to details, Completion of secondary education and vocational training or apprentice, Grade 1 mechanical certificate, A valid PG driver’s licence with a defensive driving certificate and a record of safe driving, Fluency in both spoken and written English, Be able to work as a team member and sober mind
