Strictly graduates from any recognised University in Social Sciences, rural development, agriculture or related fields
Use of mobile technologies to collect data will be an added advantage, Must be able to follow and carry out instructions given by supervisors and willing to learn from other guidance, Ability and willingness to accurately complete 5 or more questionnaires each day, Must have in-depth questioning and active listing skills, Previous experience in administering household level questionnaire is required 

Fluent in English and Chichewa, Able to build rapport with respondents to ensure that they remain motivated and interested in answering questions truthfully, Must be able to assure confidentiality of respondents’ personal information, Must show sober behavior at all times they are required to perform duties, Must show respect and non judgmental attitude towards respondent’s ideas, , cultural values and traditions, Must be conversant with basic social research ethics and be able to apply them in the field, Abe to follow guidance provided by the SANE research team, Highly punctual, organized and flexible, Must be proactive and bale to “think on your feet”, Ability and willingness to work long hours and sometimes in adverse field conditions, must be able to work independently as well as within a team environment, Must be reliable and committed to fulfilling assignments with high level of professionalism 

The SANE project needs temporary data collectors together data in the 10 FtF districts, The data collectors will be trained on interviewing techniques, the survey questionnaires, data collection using mobile technology and the ethics of conducting research with human subjects, The performance of each candidate will be assessed during the performance period, Based on this performance, data collectors wile b renewed or not for future data collection efforts 

Those who successfully complete the training will sign a contract to work on data collection for a period of time to be confirmed and that will vary by data collection activity, This field work will involve working form Monday to Saturday for a number of weekends and days to be confirmed 

The purpose of the Strengthening Agricultural and Nutrition Extension (SNE) activity is to strengthen the capacity of the Govt of Malawi’s Dept of Agricultural Extension Services (DAES) to mobilize and work with service providers to delivery agricultural and nutrition extension and advisory services more effectively and in a coordinated manner in the Feed the Future (FtF) Zone of Influence, To accomplish this goal, the SANE project aims to implement data collection activities that will contribute towards different Monitoring and Evaluation activities the project will be involved in
