Here’s where you come in:
As National Director – Malawi, you will oversee the development and strategy of all country operations. World Vision Malawi was founded in 1982 and serves more than 400,000 children, their families and their communities across 44 programme areas.
You are a highly accomplished visionary leader who combines proven business disciplines with inspirational management skills to effectively communicate global initiatives, cultivate relationships, and identify opportunities to successfully drive World Vision Malawi growth and development.
Requirements include:
  • Master’s Degree in International Development or equivalent with 10 years’ experience in country level multi sectorial program management at leadership level.
  • Significant experience in one of major ministries (humanitarian emergencies, development and advocacy), close familiarity with the other two.
  • Experience in fund raising in general and generating local revenue in particular, advocacy and public relations and leading or working with advisory boards.
  • Management experience of an organization with over 400-500 staff preferred.
  • Travel: 30% Domestic/international travel may be required.
