DAI is an international development company, For more than 45 yrs we have worked on the frontline of international development, tackling fundamental social and economic development problems caused by inefficient markets, ineffective governance, and instability, Currently, DAI is delivering results that matter in some 80 countries, including in Malawi through the Local Government Accountability and Performance (LGAP) project
LGAP is a 5 year USAID-funded project that will improve the performance of local govt in Malawi by improving capacity and accountability of local govts in the districts where it will work, strengthening citizen engagement and oversight, and improving the broader national policy and systems environment for decentralization, While doing so, LGAP will directly assist USAID Malawi to operationalise its integration approach
The LGAP project is seeking applications for the following long term position based in the LGAP office in Lilongwe
IT Officer
Responsible for oversight of IT needs for all project offices, including system installations, maintenance, support and technical advice, Must have Bachelors degree in related field, 5+ yrs of relevant experience, knowledge of Windows Server and Windows Client operating systems and Windows network services
Good communication skills, both written and oral, Prior experience on USAID programs highly desirable, Strong English language skills required
