CARE is an International Non-Government Organization and works in 95 countries around the world to support more than 890 poverty-fighting development and humanitarian-aid projects in the improvement of livelihoods and capacities of poor and marginalized households especially women and girls. In Malawi, CARE works in collaboration with the Government of Malawi and local partners.
CARE Malawi is part of consortium of The USAID-funded Malawi Support for Service Delivery Integrated (SSDI) Program which is implementing an integrated service delivery program that will ensure significant expansion and improved quality of priority Essential Health Package (EHP) services at the community and referral levels with the aim of improving the health and well-being of the population of Malawi.

CARE Malawi seeks to recruit qualified persons who can immediately fill the following vacant positions for this programme:

District Community Mobilization Coordinators (4)
The positions will be based in Kasungu, Dowa, Nkhotakota and Salima and report to the District Team Leader. The successful candidate will ensure that the project is running effectively by among others, planning and coordinating community mobilization activities in the District.

District Clinical Coordinator(1)
This position will be based in Dowa and report to the District Team Leader. The successful candidate will ensure the quality of integrated EHP service provision in health facilities within the District. S/he will provide technical leadership in all health facility based interventions supported by the SSDI Program under close guidance of the Zonal Technical Specialist.

CARE Malawi is seeking to recruit a Project Manager who will be responsible for providing CSC technical support in the implementation of the project under the leadership of the CSC Technical Director. S/he will facilitate the design of innovative strategies to enhance district, health center and community capabilities in planning and implementing sustainable collaborative initiatives that address the barriers to access and delivery of PMTCT Services.

The Manager will assume the overall management and coordination of project implementation, which will entail translation of the project concept into implementable plans, liaison with key partners and other projects within CARE, supervision and provision of mentorship to project staff and partners.
