Qualifications
- Applicants must possess a Bachelors Degree in Finance or Accountancy from recognized institution. Those who are fully qualified with ACCA, CIMA and other equivalents will have an added advantage.
- Candidates must not be of more than 35 years of age.
Duties
- Checking the authenticity, completeness and accuracy of expenditure transactions prior to effecting payments;
- Examining payments to ensure that they are made from approved work plans and budgets;
- Validating payroll, on a monthly basis, before salaries are paid;
- Validating that commitments and arrears are only incurred after obtaining necessary
approval; - Verifying the completeness and accuracy of bank reconciliation statements and other
financial reports; - Examining revenue transactions to ensure that revenue is correctly assessed and promptly collected, banked and recorded;
- Discussing results of the assignments with relevant officers;
- Drafting reports on the assignments undertaken for submission to supervisors
- Performing other duties assigned by superiors
