Applications are invited from suitably qualified and experienced individuals to fill the vacant positions available at Smallholder Tea Company (STECO).

FIELD ZONE EXTENSION OFFICERS (6 POSTS)

 These positions report directly to the District Manager, Smallholder Tea Company.
The successful candidates should have very good understanding of all areas relating to tea cultivation, management and should be able to impart knowledge to Tea in an extension environment.

  QUALIFICATIONS, ATTRIBUTES AND EXPERIENCE
  • Should have a Diploma or Certificate in Agriculture or Forestry from a recognized institution with at least 3 years of practical experience in a related field or its equivalent.
  • A good working knowledge in tea cultivation, management and production.
  • Demonstrated ability to prepare work programmes and work plans.
  • Be mature, self starter, committed to work, well motivated and willing to work odd and long hours.
