Leading engineering concern require a RESIDENT ENGINEER STRUCTURES/MALAWI, SALARY NEG. DEGREE IN CIVIL PLUS Pr.Eng Essential .The successful person will be required to move to and reside in Malawi for this 2 Year contract
Main job function
Resident engineering functions as outlined in FIDIC based contracts.
Supervise and oversee all engineering personnel, inspect all materials and assist to resolve all construction processes and advise and recommend improvements.
Resolve client and engineering questions within required timeframes.
Ensure compliance with design, specs and standards.
Attend site meetings.
Must have working knowledge of reinforced concrete structural steel construction.
Issuing of site instructions.
Report writing,
Design compliance standards.
Report to HOD Civil and structural engineer.
Qualifications.
Degree. B.Eng civil Or B.Tech civil plus Pr.Eng registration with ECSA.
Experience/Criteria
10 YEARS Minimum in a senior position.
