RESIDENT ENGINEER PIPELINES /Malawi. 2YR CONTRACT
B.Eng Civil or B, Tech civil plus Pr.Eng registered with ECSA.
Must be prepared to reside in Malawi for the duration of the contract.
Main job function
Resident engineering functions on Bulk water supply pipeline projects as outlined in FIDIC based contracts.
Resolve queries with clients and engineers.
Oversee all engineering work, designs, work schedules and site management on the project.
Monitor all equipment use from installation to conception.
Evaluate all improvement operations.
Site supervision of all construction work for short and sometimes long durations.
Maintain all field notes and site reporting accurately.
Qualifications
B.Eng civil or B.Tech Civil and Pr Eng certification essential
Experience/Criteria
10 years as a resident engineer must have worked on Steel or Duct Iron pipeline projects.
