NIRAS is looking for a Water Supply Engineer for Technical assistance for the Malawi NRWB Water Efficiency Project. Tasks and activities include:
- Project management
- Planning and design of surface water and groundwater abstraction systems
- Development of an hydraulic model for the water supply
- Design and implementing SCADA in water supply
- Implementation and training of GIS registration in water supply
- Design and implementation of a Management Information System (MIS)
- Development and implementation of leak detection programmes
- Procurement and tendering
- Project management

Qualifications required

Master degree in Engineering within the field of the assignment (Environment, Hydrology, Hydraulic etc.)
Professional experience required
Minimum 10 years’ experience. Extensively experience in water supply (water treatment and distribution).
