Procurement Agent

An opportunity is available for a suitably qualified and experienced Procurement Agent in Malawi. 
This position is located in the Procurement Section of the General Services Office.  The incumbent assists the Procurement Supervisor and General Services Officer with all procurement activities, including sourcing, quoting, ordering, requisitioning and monitoring delivery of goods and performance of services from a variety of local, regional, U.S. and international vendors. Supervision is provided by the Procurement Supervisor and General Services Officer. Incumbent must be familiar with and strive to meet all Universal Service Standards under their portfolio.

Medical Programs Specialist (TB/HIV)

Public Health Specialist (TB/HIV)
An opportunity is available for a suitably qualified and experienced Medical Programs Specialist (TB/HIV) in Malawi. 
The incumbent of this position is a senior medical program specialist for Tuberculosis and HIV interventions and strategies in CDC Malawi.  The position is responsible for the design, implementation, coordination, and evaluation of a broad range of agency-funded TB-HIV-focused program activities and studies required to implement the President’s Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief (PEPFAR) in Malawi, as well as other health program activities under the US Global Health Initiative.  The job holder (JH) is a USG TB- HIV program advisor to the Malawian Ministry of Health, implementing partners, including those funded by the Malawian government or the Global Fund, and non-governmental organizations (NGOs) in the implementation of TB treatment and care program activities and studies.  The incumbent represents CDC on TB HIV treatment and care issues at technical, policy and strategic planning meetings, including meetings with collaborators and donor agencies.  Job holder serves as the activity manager for TB-HIV projects and related grants, contracts and cooperative agreements and coordinates funding, reporting, and administration with the extramural team to assure projects are conducted and USG funds are appropriately utilized.
