Graduate Registrar – African Bible College
(Liberia, Malawi, Uganda)
ABC is a Christian University with the vision of training Christian Leaders in Africa and beyond, ABC is inviting applications to fill the vacant posts of the Graduate registrar, The Graduate registrar will be reporting to the African Bible College Graduate Coordinator
Work closely with the Director of the Masters program to oversee the administration of the office in general and with the College accounts office to keep track of student finance, Serve as admin communicator between the students, administrators, faculty members and ABC at large, Coordinate the program logistics and record keeping, including professor contracts, student grades, transcripts and personal detail, Be the primary point of contact for all matters arsing from the student body, both from the side of the students as from the side of the professors (including absenteeism and incomplete work), Oversee the application process, be a proactive in the advertisement of the program and actively pursue each and every query about the program, Facilitate course evaluations, filing of syllabi, keeping stock of textbooks and preparing textbook orders
Committed Christian actively engaged in church life with a good reputation both inside and outside the church, Be a self starter, work independently where appropriate and take initiative where necessary, Understand and appreciate the nature of ABC’s mission and passionate about higher Christian education, Minimum of Diploma in Public Administration or its equivalent and 3 yrs experience in administrative work, including mastering Word, Email, Excel with good communication skills
Be an approachable person, ready to serve, able to cope with students or professors under pressure
