Head of Programmes (WASH) , Lilongwe and Mzuzu

Pump Aid works alongside communities in sub-saharan Africa to enable them to obtain safe clean water and improved sanitation. We are seeking to recruit a Programme Director who will provide strategic and operational management for all our country programmes.
We are looking for a Head of Programmes who will can hit the ground running and who will take our rapidly growing WASH programming (we specialise in MUS, rural water supply and sanitation, appropriate technologies, community approaches and self supply) to the next level. The post holder will be able to demonstrate their ability to:
• manage programmes so they are efficient, effective and meet donor requirements
•capture learning through evaluation and research
•manage and develop staff within a collaborative and learning environment
•participate and support fundraising development and reporting
•contribute to organisational strategy, development and growth

We are offering this post on a permanent full-time contract. The UK branch of Pump Aid is based in central London and the post requires significant international travel. The post could be based in London or Malawi.
