Grants Management & Fundraising Coordinator
Wateraid is looking for a Grants Management and Fundraising Coordinator (GMFC) to join our programme in Mozambique. Based in Maputo you will be responsible for the effective management of funds and lead the fundraising initiatives throughout WaterAid Mozambique programme. The position is critical to the management of all donor relations and will work closely with the WaterAid Mozambique programme and the finance and fundraising teams of the WaterAid members.
Essential education/previous experience of candidate:
  • University degree or professional qualification in relevant area
  • Significant experience in fundraising and donor fund management
  • Experience in developing funding  proposals
  • Solid experience in developing relationships with government and donor agencies at senior level
  • Confident in developing budgets and track expenses
  • You will be required to work autonomously with minimal administrative support, therefore an ability to manage and organise your own workload is essential.
  • Fluent in Portuguese and English
Programme Manager Urban x2
We are recruiting for two Programme Managers - Urban (PMU). With one role based in Nampula and the other in Boane, managers will have primary responsibility for managing our projects with one manager responsible for our projects in Quelimane and Cuamba, and the other for projects in Boane.  The PMU will help Senior Programme Manager - Urban in coordinating the implementation of its projects. In particular, the PMU will work as Technical Assistant for both town/cities as part of a project for improving Water and Sanitation.
Essential education/previous experience of candidate:
  • University degree or professional qualification in relevant field (hydraulics, civil engineering, health, anthropology, social sciences)
  • A minimum of five years experience in participatory development programmes, including planning, participatory monitoring and evaluation.
  • Experience in water, sanitation and hygiene promotion, including low-cost technologies supply programmes.
  • Experience in developing and managing projects and budgets.
  • Fluent in Portuguese and English
